Nope. You can pay by credit card right at the machine — no app, no account. The app is optional but handy if you want the Unlimited plan or faster repeat visits.
Download the Stinky Cactus app, choose the Unlimited plan ($45/month), and save a payment method. Then just show up, pick an open machine, match the cactus icon in the app, and start washing. Wash as many times as you want each month. Cancel anytime.
Yes! Every machine has a credit card reader. Walk up, tap or insert your card, and start your wash. This is Wash On Demand pricing: $18 for the first 20 minutes, then $1 per minute after that.
Barrel, Saguaro, and Cholla are the names of our three wash stations — each one has a matching cactus icon. Pick whichever machine is open. If you're using the app, just match the icon on the machine to the one in the app.
We have three stations, so wait times are usually short. If all three are in use, hang tight for a few minutes — washes typically take 20–30 minutes.
Most washes take 20–30 minutes depending on your dog's size and coat. Take your time — there's warm water, shampoo, conditioner, and a high-velocity dryer at every station.

We are fully self-service — you wash your own dog using our professional-grade equipment. We don't offer hands-on grooming, but the machines make it easy even if you've never done it before.
Yes! If you're on the Unlimited plan, wash as many dogs as you like. For Wash On Demand, the timer runs per session — wash one dog, then start another session for the next.
